Just Visiting

“Just Visiting” holds a special place in the Arcomusical repertoire. Composed in 2001, it was the very first commissioning project for solo berimbau and it remains among the finest works in the catalog. This beautiful solo piece is actually for six berimbaus, five of which are prerecorded. It casts a haunting, spacious, and understated atmosphere that highlights the ritual aspect of the instrument’s origins.
