Natália Mitre holds a BM in percussion performance from UFMG, where she is currently working on an MM in the same area of study. Particularly adept in popular music, Ms. Mitre is the vibraphonist in the group Semreceita and with two pianist/composers: Luísa Mitre and Davi Fonseca. She received the title “best instrumentalist” during the 18th edition of the BDMG Instrumental Prize. Natália is an active member of many original musical ensembles such as Coletivo ANA, Arcomusical Brasil, Trio Mitre/Benedito JAZZ, Irene Bertachini, Trio Bola Preta, Orquestra Já te Digo, Abre a Roda – Mulheres no Choro, Artur Andrés Ensemble, e Dois a Dois. International performances include the Romerias de Mayo em Holguin Festival (Cuba, 2013), PASIC (USA, 2014), and the First Bow Music Conference (South Africa, 2016).
