Computer programmer by trade and creative musician at heart, Arcomusical instrument builder Alex Rolfe lives with his wife and children in Black Earth, Wisconsin. In 2023, thanks to a generous micro-grant from the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership, Alex spent two days in apprenticeship with original Arcomusical luthier David “Snappy” White, learning and studying every last detail of “Snappy’s” extremely careful and meticulous approach to berimbau instrument building.
