Arcomusical is a resource for new music for the Afro-Brazilian berimbau.

The title is a simple neologism that makes one word out of two Portuguese words, “arco” meaning “bow”, and “musical” meaning “musical.”  The berimbau is a musical instrument that belongs to a large family of instruments found all over the world and known simply as “musical bows.”

Here you will find photos, videos of performances, audio, and published articles and scores that all deal with the berimbau.
